    PhotoShop CS2/3/4.

GIMP is easier in the beginning, but if you become a GIMP pro it's only about mid-photoshop.

never really used paint and that, i only started with ps cs3 because some one gave it to me and i got into that, i once changed to cs4 a while ago and the look of it put me off so changed back but last night i put cs4 back on and now i am starting to get used to it i think if you can ignore the fact it looks pretty nasty its actually a lot easier to use and move around in. so ps Cs4 all the way now for me
